Loose lay vinyl and carpet tiles at Frontline Safety
A solution for raised access flooring
With the new offices of Frontline Safety using existing raised access flooring, the team at Saxen knew it needed a floor that could be lifted and replaced with ease and so turned to Mohawk Group’s loose lay luxury vinyl tiles and carpet tiles.
Choosing the concrete look of Santorini and wood effect Pagoda Oak, along with Grit and Bruut carpet tiles from the award-winning Imperfection collection, JoJo Robertson of Frontline Safety and Kirsteen Brown of Saxen overcame the challenge of raised access flooring while delivering a warm and welcoming floor finish. The commercial interior company also chose Isafe 70 safety flooring in the concrete look of Odin.
Adding warmth and a touch of luxury
“We wanted to give a hotel-like experience to the office for our employees,” says JoJo Robertson, director, Frontline Safety. “The oak effect floor adds warmth at desking areas, with the concrete look helping to zone the space and make features out of collaboration, kitchen and contemplation spaces. We’ve then used Imperfection carpet tiles to bring a luxury touch to meeting rooms and private offices. The overall look feels welcoming and inviting with the loose lay solutions overcoming the technical challenges of the site.”
Now available in the Matrix 70 Loose Lay collection, Mohawk Group’s loose lay luxury vinyl tiles deliver a performance vinyl floor that can be installed directly alongside carpet tiles. Available in concrete, stone and wood looks, as well as a textile effect, Matrix 70 Loose Lay planks and tile are easy to lift and can be installed with tackifier adhesives for extra security.
The Imperfection carpet tile collection is inspired by Wabi-Sabi, the Japanese philosophy of finding beauty in the imperfect. The premium carpet tile is made with 100% Econyl regenerated yarn and comes with the optional EcoFlexä Echo 94% recycled polyester felt backing.
