Bringing the energy

Designed by David Haziz, Arbor + Co, the offices are a striking mix of vibrant pop colours, graphic patterns, velvet walls, low-slung breakout seating, a live wall and striking black wood finishes and furniture. David has managed to create an office scheme that delivers on the client’s wish for an office space that delivered a modern and sleek space for its employees.

Given free rein in creating the scheme, David worked with Carmel Business to deliver the project. Having worked with us on a previous project, he was confident that we would deliver the product range for a floor layout that supported his ambitions for the interior.

“This project was an exciting opportunity which gave the creative freedom to present an interior that delivered the vibrancy and energy the client was after. With Mohawk Group’s selection of carpet tiles, I was able to coordinate colours perfectly to hold the scheme together. Using unexpected layouts and combinations to add a dynamic overtone to the floor without compromising comfort or acoustics, it’s a first-class finish that was surprisingly affordable.”

Exacting attention to detail

David is based in London and so worked closely with us to develop the scheme. From our initial selection of carpet tiles and luxury vinyl tiles, David refined his choices, using our sample service to make critical decisions on colour combinations and patterns.

This exacting attention-to-detail has not gone unrewarded, with the floor delivering a striking scheme across working areas, breakouts and collaboration spots. Using the terrazzo look of Moduleo 55 Mysto luxury vinyl tiles as a feature and our Rudiments Teak and Balanced Hues carpet tiles for productivity areas; it’s a layout that delivers something special.

Carpet tiles to support productivity

The comfort and acoustic benefits of our carpet tiles have been harnessed in desking areas and meeting rooms. Our Rudiments collection, in the wood-inspired Teak design, has been coordinated with complementing colours in the all-over textile look of Balanced Hues. David has placed surprising combinations of both patterns together to break up the space and add a sense of the unexpected to up the energy of the layout.

The carpet tiles can meet the daily performance duties of the bustling office, with a stain-resistant and lightfast yarn that keeps colours sharp, even under rigorous use and cleaning.

Luxury Vinyl Tiles for simple maintenance

In the kitchenette, David turned to the terrazzo look of Mysto 46921 beneath the main table. Complementing the dark grey of the floor tiles, Ceppo brings a change of look to frame the elegant dining table and seating. Finished with a smart black trim, the luxury vinyl tile floor brings the look of an area rug in a low maintenance and durable finish that can easily withstand use in the kitchenette.

Mysto is finished with our Protectonite® coating for an office floor that’s easy to keep clean and resistant to stains and scratches. The high-performance finish is standard across our entire Luxury Vinyl Tile collection. Moduleo 55 is made for demanding environments including office, retail, hospitality and leisure projects features 50% recycled materials from our own production.
